A firm that should feel calm and clear
A tax advisory and audit firm in Hamburg looks after companies, self-employed people and families in the city and across the north. Its website has to create trust before the first conversation: through a calm look, clear language and the promise of fixed contacts. At the same time it has to arrange four fields of advice clearly and lead visitors to current news and to an event on business succession. That was the task, and it was meant to be solved without big words and without gimmicks.
Serif type, slideshow, full-screen menu
We developed concept, texts and design for tax advisers and auditors. The page opens with a start image that changes on its own, while bands and cards fade in as you scroll. The header stays quiet at the top, disappears when scrolling down and returns when scrolling up, and the menu spreads over the whole screen. A serif typeface gives the page weight, and anyone who has reduced motion switched on sees no animations. In all, the website has four pages: home, news, imprint and privacy.
News, expertise and an evening on succession
Today the home page leads from the firm through its offer to the people to contact. The expertise section arranges tax advice, auditing, accounting and business consulting, each with its own list. A section on the digital firm describes the shared portal and meetings by video. Three current news items point to full articles on the news page. A separate section invites readers to an evening on business succession, and registering opens a prepared e-mail. At the end the page names the teams and gives the firm's contact details.
