Page speed optimisation: a website that does not keep anyone waiting
When a page takes long to load on a phone, visitors leave, and Google takes speed into account when it rates a page. We first measure what slows it down and fix exactly that: images that are too large, overloaded fonts, unnecessary programs running in the background or a weak server. You see the measured values before and after.
Overview
Page speed optimisation
We measure why your website is slow and fix the causes: images, fonts, add-ons and server.
Who it is for
- Businesses whose website feels sluggish on a phone
- Shops where pages with many product images load slowly
- Websites with poor scores in Google PageSpeed Insights
What is included
Measurement with Lighthouse and Google PageSpeed Insights, on phone and desktop
A list of causes, sorted by impact
Images reduced in size and in modern formats
Fonts, scripts and add-ons tidied up
Caching and delivery through a fast network (CDN) checked
Measured values before and after in a report
Written fixed-price offer before we start, payment only after approval
Measure instead of guess
We do not give you a target number but show what was measured and what changed afterwards. Some causes are out of our hands, for example a very basic server or an add-on you cannot do without. We say so openly.
A new website: fast from the start
When we build your website anew, it is built for the phone and fast from the start. If your old site is out of date anyway, a rebuild can make more sense than speeding it up. We tell you honestly.
How it works
First we measure: Lighthouse and PageSpeed Insights, on a phone and on a desktop, on your most important pages. This takes one to two working days and yields a list of causes, sorted by effect. Then we fix them in that order: oversized images, overloaded fonts, unnecessary scripts, caching and delivery. After each major change we measure again. At the end you receive a report with the measured values before and after. Depending on the state of the site, the work usually takes five to ten working days. If the cause lies with the server or the site builder, we say so early. That is a guide value, not a promise.
How you measure success
Google names three key figures, the Core Web Vitals. The first, Largest Contentful Paint, measures when the main content is visible. The second, Interaction to Next Paint, measures how quickly the page reacts to a tap. The third, Cumulative Layout Shift, measures whether content jumps while loading. Add the total size of the page in megabytes and the Lighthouse performance score. We measure all of them on a phone, before and after the work, with the same tool. Search Console also shows you values from real visitors. Fluctuations are normal, so we take several measurements. We cannot promise a particular score.

Frequently asked questions
How fast does a website have to be?
Google names the Core Web Vitals as benchmarks: when the main content is visible, how quickly the page responds, whether anything jumps around. We measure exactly these values and show them to you.
Can every website be made faster?
Almost every one, but not at any price. With some site builders we hit limits. Then we say what is possible and whether a move to a website of your own would bring more.
How do I know whether my site is too slow?
Enter the address in PageSpeed Insights, which is free. There you see the values on a phone and a list of what slows the page down. In addition, the Core Web Vitals report in Search Console shows how real visitors experience your site. We measure the same and explain the figures in plain language, even without technical knowledge.
Do I have to change anything about my hosting?
Sometimes. Often a lot can be achieved with smaller images and fewer add-ons, without changing provider. If the server itself is the bottleneck, we tell you with measured values and name alternatives. We only make a switch with your consent. Domain and email addresses stay where they are.
